About
I'm based in Los Angeles, but my work's taken me all over the country, from West Virginia's Allegheny Mountains to the beaches of San Onofre, California. A watchdog at heart, I care most about accountability, impact, and beautiful tape.
I cut my teeth as an environmental reporter at the Charleston Gazette-Mail in West Virginia. There, I helped launch Mountain State Morning, a weekly podcast that allowed us to elevate the voices of West Virginians, while reaching a wider audience and growing digital newspaper subscriptions. Poynter even wrote about it.
I've developed and produced podcasts for CNN, Sony Music Entertainment, Morgan Freeman's Revelations Entertainment. Last year, I was awarded a grant to produce Shofar, So Good! a personal series about my quest for Judaism.
I'm the owner of a small business that captures love stories, an annual volunteer at the Sundance Film Festival, and writer of several pilots and screenplays (including one that recently made the top 2% of submissions at the Austin Film Festival).
All to say: I'm passionate about my work, and I love all kinds
of storytelling.
